Santa Cruz Vala Ride Review
Notably different from the rest of Santa Cruz’s lineup, the new Vala marks a departure from the brand's tried-and-true style and is sure to get riders interested. The Vala utilizes a four-bar linkage system that allows Santa Cruz to accommodate the new Bosch Performance Line CX motor while maintaining the ride characteristics the brand is known for. Designed around a mixed wheel configuration, 150mm of rear travel, and added assist of 85Nm, the Vala is certain to be a blast up and down the mountain.

The bike offers a predictable ride feel across varying terrain and under braking.
The mixed wheel platform makes cornering effortless, allowing the bike to lean in confidently. With 150mm of travel, the suspension offers capability far beyond the average trail scenario, handling a wide range of technical terrain with ease.
For a first attempt at a different linkage design, Santa Cruz has created a bike that feels balanced and predictable, making it equally at home on dirt and in the air.
