The Giro Cylinder Shoes are great for mountain biking because they are comfortable, lightweight and breathable. Quick adjustments can be made on the fly thanks to the Boa dial located on the top of the shoe. The Boa dial and the singular front velcro strap allows you to quickly get in and out of the shoe no matter if you are on or off the trail. The Boa will allow you to make 1mm increment adjustments to tighten the fit of the shoe. When you pull the Boa away from the shoe it will release the cable and you can step right out of the shoe. Molded nylon and rubber are found on the outsole that provides traction while walking in dirt and rock. The durable design features a mid-foot scuff guard and will accommodate optional steel toe spikes for cylocross and cross country mountain biking.
