Contender Bicycles is excited to invite you to An Evening with Gerard Vroomen. As one of the leading innovators in the bicycling industry Gerard has had quite an impact on bicycle design. His unique approach to bike design and marketing started with his first company, Cervelo, and continues to evolve today. On Wednesday, March 21 from 6:00-8:00pm, Gerard will be at the shop to discuss cycling and his latest ventures, the cycling brands of OPEN Cycle and 3T Cycling. Small bites and beverages will be provided. We look forward to seeing you! As an engineer, he has experimented and designed bicycles for just about every use. As the co-founder of Cervelo , Gerard was a driving force in growing the company from a concept of an aerodynamic bike to a larger brand with their own Pro-Tour team. With OPEN Cycle and 3T Cycling, he has focused on more "niche" products that cycling enthusiasts have taken to worldwide. Gerard's success has also transcended the bicycling industry.
