ENVE Melee LTD RED Edition

With the release of the brand new SRAM RED system, ENVE celebrated with a limited run of 50 custom-painted bikes, designed in their paint lab just a short drive from Contender located in Ogden, Utah. Contender was lucky enough to receive one of these bikes, set apart by the handpainted ‘16/50’ located on the frame's downtube. With the full SRAM RED Kit, ENVE ensured every detail would be dialed. 

Built around the custom-painted Melee frame, ENVE specs the bike with a color-matched SES AR one-piece cockpit extending the dark red detail onto the handlebars. The AR cockpit has a slight flare, a perfect match for the ergonomic shape of the SRAM RED levers. Each bar was made to order for the owner, making sure that the fit would be dialed in from the start. 

For wheels, ENVE provided the Team Issue ENVE SES 4.5s with custom silver decals to match. This year these wheels reached the top of the podium in both the Giro D’Italia and Tour de France under Tadej Pogacar, along with 11 stage wins along the way. The ENVE Innerdrive hub allows ratchet customization, giving riders the option of 40, 60, 80, or 100 points of engagement. Except for the groupset, every part of this bike is made by ENVE. 

Going with the all-new SRAM RED groupset, this bike's owner wanted to get the widest gear range possible.  Featuring a 48/35 powermeter-equipped crankset, and the 10-36 cassette, this drivetrain is perfect for the high-mountain passes and the steep canyons that are found in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah.
