Day eleven of Ernie's Best Builds goes to the BMC Timemachine 01. This TT/tri bike features a SRAM RED eTap TT drivetrain, SRAM aero chainrings, a Zipp Super-9 Carbon Clincher disc rear wheel, ENVE 4.5 front wheel, SRM PC8 computer, and Zipp aero bars.
You ever just look at a bike and think, "Jeez. That bike can go faster than I'll ever be able to push it" ? That's certainly the case whenever the BMC Timemachine 01 passes through our shop. A three-year partnership with F1 racing firm Sauber Engineering helped them refine their tube shapes and SubA aerodynamic designs. An additional two years was spent designing the bike’s rider positioning system and component integration, which leads to it's purposeful, aggressive look. Super lean, with nothing that can be considered as excess.
