Millcreek Canyon

If you decide to ride from the shop to the base of Millcreek Canyon, you’ll be treated to a network of inner city bike paths, a beautiful canyon that is noticeably cooler than the city during the summer, and an excellent descent out of the canyon. While there is some auto traffic, the top half of the canyon is closed to auto traffic from November 1st to July 1st. It’s worth continuing past the gate for the silky-smooth pavement and beautiful greenery on the way back down. Overall, a rewarding climb that can easily be done from our shop and back.
