Featuring the Fox Float X shock with onboard Ramp Adjust control, this bike is meticulously designed to ensure you speed down the mountain with ease and precision. The Genius ST 920 is all about delivering high performance and ultimate control, making your downhill rides not just faster but also smoother and more enjoyable.
At the core of the SCOTT Genius ST 920 is its innovative Integrated Suspension Technology, a sophisticated system that conceals the rear shock within the frame. This unique design places the shock inside the frame, contributing to a lower center of gravity and enhancing the bike's stability and handling. A built-in sag indicator on the non-drive side of the bike’s rocker link ensures precise adjustments, while the lower mounting position of the shock adds stiffness around the bottom bracket area without any extra weight. This clever integration not only improves performance but also protects the shock from external elements.
Accessing the shock is straightforward, thanks to a downtube door that opens at the push of a button, doubling as durable bottom bracket protection. The Genius ST 920 leverages the Fox Float X shock with a unique adjustment lever instead of SCOTT’s usual TwinLoc suspension remote. This lever allows you to fine-tune the shock's behavior, making it more progressive or linear depending on your needs. For plush, ground-hugging performance, keep the shock in 'Descend' mode. Switch to the 'Ramp Control' setting for flow trails with lots of compressions, berms, and drops, effectively simulating the addition or removal of a volume spacer with just a flip of a switch. The SCOTT Genius ST 920 trail bike redefines versatility and adaptability on the trails, ensuring you have the best ride possible, no matter the terrain.
