The Specialized S-Works Torch represents the pinnacle of cycling footwear, built upon the most successful shoe legacy in the sport. Combining Body Geometry with biomimicry, cutting-edge data science, and meticulous craftsmanship, this shoe is designed so well that you’ll barely notice it on your feet.

Data science played a key role in perfecting every aspect of the S-Works Torch’s upper, enhancing both fit and performance. The BOA cable is repositioned to reduce lift at the ball of the foot, offering a structure that boosts power while eliminating pressure points. Adaptive materials allow for natural foot movement where comfort is needed, while data-driven reinforcements ensure secure support for maximum power and efficiency.

Drawing from over 100,000 foot scans via RETÜL fit data, Specialized developed both standard and wide carbon base plates to accommodate a variety of foot shapes. The internal I-Beam adds stiffness and strength without the need for additional bracing, resulting in a 20-gram weight reduction and improved power transfer. The asymmetric heel cup, designed with biomechanical data, promotes natural knee alignment while providing enhanced comfort with extra space for the Achilles.
